About Me

I am an Illustrator and Designer residing in Frisco, TX. I attended the Maryland Institute College of Art (Class of '16) and studied Illustration, Animation, and Game/Arts. Currently I'm working as an Art Director and Senior Artist at UX is Fine! And was previously at Gearbox Software, and Sparkypants Studios.

I grew up in Houston, TX where I spent much of my childhood trying to get my hands on as many comics, video games, and movies as I could in order to satisfy my desire for good storytelling. I use all of these influences as inspiration for my work, where I'm interested in communicating a visual narrative.

Interests

I have a bad habit of playing a lot of games, but finishing very few. I just like dabbling and seeing what’s out there! I probably spend more time collecting games and hardware these days. I’m pretty proud of my Game Boy collection, and my growing collection of other various handhelds.

I adore all things horror. Dead Space may be my favorite horror game. Halloween is my favorite slasher. I’ve spent many evenings reading random creepypasta short stories on the internet.

When I’m not being a filthy consumer, you can find me enjoying some of my other hobbies. I enjoy cooking - I like to experiment and try new recipes that I find, and smoking meat in my backyard. I like lifting weights to curb the time that I spend sitting behind my desk. As a creative outlet, I enjoy playing with my cameras and shooting really mundane things for my own enjoyment that don’t need to go in a portfolio.
